Despite a wild and wet friday, the 2019 show was a huge success with over 61,000 people attending.
Despite a rain-soaked Friday, the 2019 Diesel Dirt &Turf Expo lived up to exhibitors’ expectations in delivering great crowds, enthusiastic and motivated buyers and the now traditional buzz of Australia’s largest earthmoving expo.
Even with a one-day washout and the first time the Expo had been held outside school holidays, 61,200 people still came to the show. And they bought their chequebooks with them, with many of the 217 exhibitors reporting best year sales and plenty of follow-up and demo calls for the months ahead.
Industry media has fully embraced the National Diesel Dirt &Turf Expo and promotion through their publications and digital media, along with a high visibility social media campaign and a new look website is going to make sure that everyone knows about the 2019 National Diesel Dirt &Turf Expo.
An improved layout made it easy for the crowd to navigate their way around the site and there was plenty of room and great facilities for relaxation.
New this year was the Megaprize draw where visitors could enter the competition by having a “passport” stamped at stations throughout the Expo with entries going to the barrel for a draw.
More than $100,000 worth of prizes were given away to 11 lucky winners.
