Seminar presenters:

Peter Kirby, speaking on industrial herbicide options in the current climate. Peter has worked within the turf and ornamental industry in both commercial and technical roles for 19 years, holding positions with Nuturf, Nufarm, Bayer and Adama.

Toby Clarke: International sales director for Dennis mowers and Sisis equipment will discuss vertical action aerators, hydraulic driven scarifiers, self-propelled scarifier and de-thatcher and drum aerators.

Albie Leggett: Speaking on disease management. Albie has 30 years sports turf Industry experience. He is a qualified greenkeeper and golf course superintendent, holding a master’s degree in agriculture from the University of Sydney and involved in technical research.

Matt Goodbun will present advances in top dressing and line marking. Matt has 25 years in the greenkeeping industry and was previously supervisor at the Newcastle Golf Club prior to joining Fernland.

Steve Jacobson who has previously been a golf course greenkeeper and superintendent, will present a session on the latest technology for solving slope and grounds maintenance problems.

Ben Gibson will present the topic, “building a great safety culture through effective leadership”. Ben appears on industry podcasts and national Turf Association magazines and a speaker turf industry events in Australia, Asia New Zealand and the US.

Stephen Foster of John Deere will speak about advances in smart technology and business lessons from the age of coronavirus.

Michael Parsons: A turf industry specialist with a lifetime in horticulture. Presenting with Matt Goodbun of Fernland.
